2007 Induction

On November 8, 2007 Timberline Local No. 9 of the Alberta Teachers' Association will formally induct its new members at the Alder Flats Legion. At the ceremony we will also take the opportunity to thank our recent retirees for their service to the profession.

The Alberta Teachers' Association deems it desirable that all persons entering the teaching profession for the first time be called upon to participate in a ceremony of recognition and acknowledgement of their professional responsibility to pupils, parents, colleagues and country.

There are 26 new teachers in Wild Rose School Division. All inductees will recieve a framed induction certificate and a membership in a specialist council of their choice. The school division had 15 retirees from last year's teaching roll, they will receive $150 toward a retirement gift and a membership in the Alberta Retired Teachers' Association.
